Now select the barcode on the top left-hand label by clicking on it once, then right click on it.

The barcode dialog is displayed. Select the Source tab.

Push the radio button marked Database field. From the drop-down list of the available fields select a field - lets select the first field for this example.

Finally push the OK button.

As the database currently holds no data the barcode image that was on the labels will not disappear - being replaced by a dotted outline to show where the barcode should be.
